Questions for the bride
Tell us about your wedding day?

We had the best wedding! And I don’t say that because I’m biased! Everything ran smoothly, even with rain at the end of the day and power outages the night before! Everything ran so smoothly and a lot of that is because of our amazing family and friends, our vendors who were very on top of everything, and the fact that my dad has been in the wedding industry for the last 12 years! We met at the venue where we had “first looks” with both my dad and my (now) husband. The wedding party went downtown and our lovely photographers took our pictures, then back to the venue for family photos. Then we had the ceremony and cocktail hour, and finally our reception.

Favorite moment of the day?

Favorite part of the day was the first looks with my dad and with my hubby to be!

Planning advice for brides?

Don’t stress about the big or the small obstacles; everything will come together as it should. Your wedding day isn’t about the details, it is about you and your fiance joining together and celebrating your union! You’ve chosen the perfect vendors for your special day and they have things under control. Your wedding shouldn’t be stressful, you should look back and forget all the details, just remember why you’re getting married! Everything else will be forgotten in 50 years and there are some things that are out of our control!

Day of wedding advice for brides?

Eat, hydrate, be well-rested! Let go of control. Your family, friends, and people you hired to take care of things will come through because they love you and want your special day to run just as smoothly as you do! Even if things aren’t exactly how you pictured, or you have to start late. At the end of the day, you got to marry your best friend and everything will be perfect!

Is there anything you would change?

Not a thing 🙂
