The guys began the day at the Holly Vault where they setup, had lunch, a beer down the road at the bar and arrived at the chapel for 4pm. Girls started their day early with hair and make-up in the bridal suite at the Holly Vault Chapel. The bridal party had pictures prior to the intimate ceremony where we exchanged personal vows. We braved the rain for some amazing group photos and wedding portraits while guests took a school bus over to the venue and enjoyed cocktail hour. We made a grand entrance, cut the cake, and had speeches before a served meal. First dances were special, as it was written and recorded by the groom (Jon). We danced the night away and broke off for some evening photos in the beautiful Battle Alley with rain falling!
All the special touches that made our day feel very personal – exchanging personal vows and sharing our first dance to a song written by the groom (Jon).
Do as much as you can ahead of time so you can enjoy the days leading up to the wedding stress-free!
Enjoy every moment because the day goes by so quickly! And don’t forget your dancing shoes!
The weather! But looking back it made for some extremely amazing photos and memories.
